What are the different sizes and which one do I need?
10" model: Lights 150 sq ft area (12' x 12' room)
14" model: Lights 250 sq ft area (15'15 area)

What if I don't have an attic or my attic is very tall?
No problem, we can size SOLATUBE® to a tongue-n-groove situation. This particular
installation takes less tubing, and requires additional secondary diffusers to
soften and spread the light more.
SOLATUBE® is highly reflective tubing material that has been tested 500%
brighter than any other tubing material on the market. That means
we can go long distances (20 ft and more) without noticeable loss of light.

What options are available?
- Electric Light Insert For Night Time Use
A UL listed light insert can turn your skylight into a regular recessed light at night. This eliminates the need to have several fixtures on the ceiling. These can be combined in 3-in-1 unit: Skylight + Fan + Light, which take incandescent bulbs (up to 100W) or compact fluorescent.
- Exhaust Fan for Bathrooms:
Our combination Skylight & Fan is great for bathrooms. The double fan motor is super quiet, and the unit is flush on the ceiling. Can be installed in combination with night Light Fixture.
- Daylight Dimmers for Light Control
Electric dimmer allows you to control the ammount of light that gets in. Great for office dens or bedrooms.
Will it fit my roof?
Yes. SOLATUBE® come in a variety of roof adapters that accommodate standard composition/shake,
Spanish or cement tile, flat and metal roofs. A small additional charge my apply
for some types of roofs.
How long does it take to install?
Approximately one hour for standard 10” skylight. (one customer had us install
one in the kitchen while his wife was at the grocery store. What a great birthday

Usually no, although it's been done. Contact us to schedule an in home consultation.
